Loved it! The beet salad was one of these best I’ve ever had. I know I know, beets, but if you like them, you’ll love this. 2 people loves the shrimp and grits, and Beef tips got a rave review. Can’t wait for the Bimbibap bowl myself. Pork cheeks were good but needed more seasoning. Desserts were fantastic. Thanks for having us!

EXCELLENT!!!! I had the pickled beet salad as well as the shrimp & grits. BEAUTIFUL presentation and plating and absolutely delicious and mouthwatering flavors. Thoroughly enjoyed both dishes and the salad was also very large! Very friendly service as well

We recently visited our son in Boone and finally gave this place a try! Vidalia is a solid restauraunt with a great vibe. We were warmly greeted by the host and quickly sat at our table. Our server Ruby-Miley was awesome! She was extremely knowlegeable about the menu and we loved her suggestions. We started with the honey butter buns and I tried not to eat more than one, but failed miserably. So delicious. For meals we had the chicken and dumpling special, the 12oz ribeye and the beet salad with trout. Our favorite was the special, but everything was delicious. We will definatley be back!

This place was great! Inside was busy and loud, but we sat on the porch and it was great. They don’t have a kids menu, but did provide some Mac and cheese for my nephew when we asked. The burger— omg it was delicious!

This was the first dining experience here for my wife and I. We were invited by good friends who are regulars here. We're both really glad we were able to accept their invitation to dinner. The atmosphere is really nice and laid back and relaxing. Jordan, our server for the evening was exceptional. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the evenings specials as well as the drink specials. She also was training another very nice young lady but sadly I forget her name. However, she did an awesome job as well and I have no doubt she'll become a great asset to the team at Vidalia. The meal options we all selected were fantastic ! And the attentiveness of our servers was wonderful. Myself and my friend Derrick chose the Ribeye which was amazing. My wife had the Salmon which she greatly enjoyed. And Derricks wife opted for the Korean Style Rice Bowl. Each dish was fantastic. We will definitely be back to eat here again. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful dining experience.

Hands down our new favorite place to eat in Boone. Evie was our server and probably the best server we have ever had. All the food was simply divine. Highly recommend the pork cracklings as an appetizer. We had 2 different cocktails - Fire on the Mountain and the Dude Abides (dessert cocktail). Both very intricate in flavors and you won’t go wrong with ordering either. Hubs had the ribeye special that was perfectly seasoned and cooked. I had the trout which was equally amazing. We also ordered the butternut squash soup which was a perfect entry into our main entrees on a cold night. Evie brought all of our food out in perfect succession and we never felt rushed nor were we left wondering where our food was. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. Reservations recommended but we were seated easily without since we arrived around 5:30 on a Friday night. This restaurant has us wondering when we should plan our next trip to Boone just so we can eat here again. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Everything about this restaurant was amazing, from the atmosphere, to the amazing drinks and food. So good we went 2 nights in a row. I had the Elk Tenderloin both nights and my wife had the trout, both dishes we visually beautiful and delicious... flavors were spot on and the execution was spectacular... highly recommend!

We were visiting Boone and decided on Vidalia for lunch. On Saturday they were offering a brunch menu. The ambience was quiet inside. Service was very quick. We ordered chicken and waffles and fried chicken sandwich with fries. WOW delicious!! The food tasted amazing and was so hot and fresh. Huge portions and great value. The winner though was the blueberry cobbler!!! The cobbler was absolutely delicious and coupled with the homemade vanilla ice cream was the best combination. Definitely try their desserts!
